Kia Ora, this week are task was to look at the kupu O te wiki (Words of the week) and put them into a conversation and use the 2 questions which are Nō hea koe? (Were are you from) and Ko wai tō ingoa? (Whats your name).
This week the kupu O te wiki
- Tūrangawaewae, standing place
- Whakapapa, genealogy, family relationship, family tree
- Tāonga, treasure, anything that is prized
- Pepeha,a greeting that acknowledges a person’s connections
- Tangata whenua, indigenous people - people born of the whenua
- Maunga, mountain
- Awa, river
