This week for maths our goal was to use a broad range of strategies to solve multiplication and division problems with whole numbers. Our create was to use any DLO of our choice and come up with an engaging way to show our learning. Use at least 5 examples to show our learning. I used a google slide to show my questions and working out, this create was super fun because I really enjoyed working out the questions and also adding the mote.

My Poetry Artholy

Kia ora and welcome to my blog,

This week the theme on our literacy task board was poetry. The create was to make a slide show and keep on compiling poems on to the slide. This create has been really fun so far beacuse I really like to make poems and so far I have done 8 poems but yet more to come.

These are some types of poems.

• Free verse
• Shape

This week for maths my create was to use a broad range of mental strategies to solve subtraction problems. Reversibility. And our create was to Use any DLO of your choice, come up with an engaging way to share your new knowledge around using reversibility to solve subtraction. You must give at least 5 examples to prove your new learning.

For my create I chose to do a slide with 5 questions but then I did a screencastify showing me working 3 questions out.

1. There are 9 stars witch are all sisters.
2. The stars names are Tupuārangi, Waipuna-ā-Rangi, Waitī, Tupuānuku, Ururangi, Waitā, Pōhutukawa and Hiwa-i-te-Rangi.
3. It is the Māori new year.

This week for maths our create was to use any digital tool you are to create something that shows your understanding of a broad range of addition and subtraction strategies. My learning goal was to use a broad range of mental strategies to solve addition and subtraction problems. I decided to use a google drawing and get 6 question for my create, 3 of the questions were for tidy numbers and the other 3 were for place value seems those were the two strategies we are looking at this week.
