Welcome to my blog this week we needed to make Matariki poem. I did an acrostic poem and the word was Matariki. This create took a we while because I am not the best at poems but regardless this was a fun create.

Kia ora and welcome to my blog,

This week the theme on our literacy task board was poetry. The create was to make a slide show and keep on compiling poems on to the slide. This create has been really fun so far beacuse I really like to make poems and so far I have done 8 poems but yet more to come.

These are some types of poems.

• Free verse
• Shape

 Ode to crunchie rocks!

On the outside you look like:

• A brown choclate rock.
• A patato cooked on my plate.
• A clump of dirt in my garden.

You feel like:

• A sticky peace of glue
• A bumpy mountan
• A baby´s bottom after a bath

When I eat you you taste like

• Cunchie sand at the beach
• Heven in a blob
• A meltty peace of ice cream
